Welcome to my online gallery.
Much of my painting has been influenced with the time spent living in The Test Valley in Hampshire, with its golden and green fields, chalk streams with trout and villages with their inherent lifestyles.In contrast to this, I spend much time in St Ives, Cornwall, UK, where the light has a special quality, the energy is noticeably connected with that of the moon. The colour and rhythm of the sea, the colour and cloud formations in the sky, the shoreline and beaches, are constantly changing. Nothing stays the same.My work reflects these moods and changes and I work these in oils and pastels painting both plein air and in the studio.
